No, try to get all 8's in throwing catching carying kicking and punting. Make sure Strength and agility are up there, strength more so than agility.

Yep, get a 20 in strength. Around 15 in agility will be good with strength at 20.

What's up with wanting all 8s in those stats? Does it increase something else?

I recently rolled a 23 in Strength. Can anybody beat that?

I got one when rolling my new DT earlier, but his other stuff was garbage. 9's in kicking and whatnot, so I tossed it.

The less points there are in the attributes you dont need, the more points youll have in the attributed you do need.

True. Don't believe I didn't think of that.

for a DT you would like to have 50 points or more total when you add up Strength, Agility and Tackling. As long as stamina is 10 or more don't worry about the rest.

There is a thread somewhere that breaks down that info. If I can find ii I will put the link in here.

That's a pretty nice guide. It's not in the Guides tab, though, is it? Bort should definitely put that one in, if it's not already.

You get 149 total sps plus the 15 you get to assign right off the bat. So the more you have in the unneccessary skills, the less you have in the good ones.

If you are building a NT any roll with 20 strength and at least 28 points in agility and tackling is OK to start with. 30 is preferred, but 28 is fine. Put 12 points into strength and 3 into stamina.

If you are building a DT then an 18 strength 16 agility, 16 tackling is fine.

If you get strength to 32 at level 1, then you can get it to 49 at level 4. (32+2 level up points +15). 48.0 to 49.0 cost 1 sp. 48.1 to 49.1 costs 2.

If you are building a DT in the D-leagues, put your regular equipment into stamina and train stamina so you maximize xp. Level 1 equipment is cheap and no team should have a problem giving you an 11K bonus if you sign after level 8 so you can sell your stamina equipment, and buy new equipment that boosts strength. If you plan on buying custom, buy it immediately and make it +6 strength, because that will keep you fresher in the games as well and that is where you are going to want it later anyway.
