I would have to think the ownership will expire at the end of this season unless he bought more than the initial 2 seasons.

I dunno, it's kinda nice having a practice game each season.

I thought there was a 2 or 3 week inactive rule for owners. Maybe since he owns all the players on the team nobody has flagged them to the Admins.

I wonder how many of those players have unspent skill points?

All the players were owned by the team owner... He obviously quit the game. Hopefully they will sell the team and they won't end up being a bye for whoever gets scheduled against them.

I feel sorry for who ever gets the team.

Yeah teams like that need a place to go to rebuild for a while. It's something tough to get something to work out without relegating and promoting a lot of teams each year.

I saw one suggestion I like. Just give people an option whether they'll accept a re-tread team. Some people are prepared to meet the challenge and may even prefer it if they have higher level players lined up. But someone who is expecting to get an expansion team and has lined up a bunch of low level players is going to be severely upset.

Well i got a completely fresh team and could only get low level talent to fill the ranks while the rest of the conference has a 4+ level advantage on my team. WHich is why I got relegated down to BBB but the same was here but the gap is coming closer as we get higher in level so I think we'll be able to compete soon.

The new ones are being capped now though. So everyone starts on more equal footing. But that's also why the average person expecting to get an expansion team is recruiting low level players that won't do a bit of good in an existing league.

It's tough, but given a few seasons, I'd imagine that a good manager could turn it around.
