Just FYI, Brick's new rankings put our Conference's probable playoff teams in this order:

1) Atlanta Purple Penguins (44.16)
2) Niagara Rapids (37.79)
3) Louisville Baby Kittens (36.21)
4) Lincoln Freedom Warriors (30.47)
5) Houston Armageddon (23.50)
6) Red Bank Thundercats (20.93)
7) The State of Texas Domination (20.80)
8) Appalachian Lycans (20.40)

And, interestingly, the gap between #6 Red Bank and #8 Appalachian is only 0.53. Man, it's gonna be a great run to the playoffs!!!

In case anyone's interested, I run a conference projector spreadsheet that uses W-L, SOS, and the "Pythagorean calculation" used by Ken Pomerantz for NCAA Men's Basketball (www.kenpom.com) and it maps out like this:

(1) Atlanta---36.94
(2) Niagara---34.08
(3) Louisville---33.51
(4) Lincoln---30.67
(5) Appalachian---27.00
(6) Red Bank---26.46
(7) Texas---26.36
(8) Houston---25.77

swapping out Houston and Appalachian. Maybe Red Bank and Texas can feel secure at #6 and #7??? Naaaaaaah....

Appalachian beats Lincoln
Red Bank beats Houston
Las Vegas beats Texas...
Maybe this Ken Pomerantz guy HAS got it figured out after all......

Oh, just for kicks, the League Projector spreadsheet promoted in the Forums (and mentioned in another of the BBB#7 threads) projected:

1 Atlanta Purple Penguins
2 Niagara Rapids
3 Louisville Baby Kittens
4 Lincoln Freedom Warriors
5 Red Bank Thundercats
6 The State of Texas Domination
7 Houston Armageddon
8 Appalchian Lycans

before today's games.
