Id like to nominate myself for OLine.

Currently on the league leaders in blocking, I am 6th. Yet I am the lowest level of the others on there ( Level 20 compared to the 23s 21s 26s ahead of me )

I am also playing LEFT tackle. Compared to others at C RG and RT. I think that speaks something.

No question that Omaha O-line deserves some serious love in the pro bowl nominations. I'm drafting my choices as we speak, and Postal, if it's any comfort to you I already have your left OT written in stone on my list.

Here's my nominations for BBB 8 West offense. I figure someone's got to break ranks and pick players from different teams as well...Defense to follow shortly.

QB Joe Throwback, Los Angeles
5055 yards passing, 48 TDs, 20 INTs, 63.7% comp/att
It doesn't get much better than that. Hands down, the best QB in the league.

RB Achilles Ulrich, Omaha
1753 yards rushing, 19 TDs, 5.3 ypc, 7 fumbles (3 lost)
I'm giving him the nod over Milton Washington as I expect Achilles earned his similar figures against full-strength defenses.

WR1 Torry J. Holt, Omaha
1000 yards receiving, 12 TDs, 15.6 yards per catch, 7.5 YAC
Pretty amazing that a rush-first team has a guy with these stats.

WR2 Footsa Flyin, Northwest Arkansas
952 yards receiving, 7 TDs, 12.9 yards per catch, 5.5 YAC

Slot receiver - USC WR, Los Angeles
1066 yards receiving, 11 TDs, 13.5 yards per catch, 4.9 YAC
You have to slip a Looter in here.

(Receiving) TE Inspectah Deck, Los Angeles
1097 yards receiving, 12 TDs, 14.1 yards per catch, 6.8 YAC
Remarkable that a TE leads all BBB8 receivers both in yardage and touchdowns.

(Blocking) TE John Robinson, Omaha
274 yards receiving, 1 TD, 9.5 yards per catch, 2.2 YAC
The blocking TE may be the most unappreciated player in GLB...except where championships are involved.

(Rushing) FB Michael Sheridan, Philadelphia
584 yards rushing, 7 TD, 5.3 YPC, 2 fumbles (1 lost)
Tank Ortiz of Las Vegas is a strong contender here but has two fewer touchdowns. It might come down to the last two games for me to make a decision.

(Blocking) FB Fukoku Kyohei, Omaha
79.5 yards rushing, 3 TD, 3.6 YPC, 2 fumbles (0 lost)
If you don't know why this guy's getting props, you haven't been paying attention.

C Vanya Karamazov, Omaha
140 pancakes
The stellar leader of the best O-line in BBB 8.

LOT Danny McBlocker, Omaha
175 pancakes
This isn't so much about the pancakes - it's more about the fact that Dan Gambino has only been sacked once all year. That's right, once.

ROT Duran Duran, Victoria Longhorns
116 pancakes
The Longhorns are a lot more solid than most people give them credit for. This is an excellently built player.

LG Huge Beast, Northwest Arkansas
121 pancakes
Look for the Nats to take over the mantle of best rushing team in the West once the Outlaws are promoted. He'll be one reason why.

RG Righteous Guard, Omaha
66 pancakes
Again, it's not about the pancakes, it's more about being a vital part of the best rushing attack in BBB 8.

CB1 Boo Adams, Tampa Bay
72 tackles, 0 forced fumbles, 9 INT, 1 INTTD, 46 passes deflected
Why Boo here instead of a lower position? Because Mr. Adams has been getting these stats against the best receivers BBB 8 West can throw at him, that's why.

CB2 Dan Browne, Bridge City
76 tackles, 4 forced fumbles, 11 INT, 2 INTTDs, 32 passes deflected
I have had this guy's honors penciled in from the moment Bridge City beat Philadelphia in Week 2. This guy can dominate.

Nickel CB Manny Sanchez, Tampa Bay
107 tackles, 2 forced fumbles, 12 INT, 2 INTTDs, 77 passes deflected
And when opposing QBs can't throw to Adams' side of the field...well, suffice it to say that Tampa Bay's secondary is a work of art, but everyone knew that already.

NT Drake Nevis, Baton Rouge
55 tackles, 7 forced fumbles
It's the number of tackles which impresses me most here.

DT Marcus Fortson, Philadelphia
55 tackles, 2 forced fumbles, 7 sacks, 1 safety, 45 hurries
A game-changing force. Philadelphia's MVP wins out but Baton Rouge's Brute Vanquish is a strong second.

DE Mike Panzer, Los Angeles
36 tackles, 17 forced fumbles, 10 sacks, 3 INT, 5 passes deflected, 29 hurries
Take out the junk stats from the Windy City game and he's still one of the best out there.

DE Paul Broadway, Bridge City
22 tackles, 2 forced fumbles, 8 sacks, 2 passes deflected, 29 hurries
The Trolls are known for bringing the pressure and he's the iron in the hammer.

Still working on...

What about Rikk Henefield, DT San Antonio Heat

60 tackles, 2 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery, 8 sacks, 19 hurries, and only 1 missed tackle all season.

I think he's a very valuable player for your team, but I just don't see him constantly bringing the pressure that Marcus Fortson or Brute Vanquish have. They're pretty similar stats until you get to the hurries, but Fortson's 45 versus Henefield's 19 is a pretty significant difference.

Please also understand that I'm not trying to annoy anyone with these selections nor am I trying to act as if I were coming down from the mountain with two tablets of stone. I just figured that instead of nominating my own players, this was an opportunity to show fairness and deep respect to the rest of the conference. That respect does not end with these nominations and certainly extends to you and your excellent team.
