I was hoping things would become clearer after this week in Alpha.
They didn't, which makes these next few games very interesting.
But first, as requested...Alpha July 6th predictions! Let's see how bad War is at predicting games!
Dubrovnik Destroyers (12-0) vs. Minsk Koats (6-6)
Minsk is picking a bad time to play poor football, while Dubrovnik has been nearly untouchable aside from threats from the Reapers, Burglars, and first half of the Golden Horde. This game should be another case of Dubrovnik Destruction, as Minsk falls into a deeper and deeper hole.
Dubrovnik: 49, Minsk: 7
Sheboygan Chaos Theory (11-1) vs. Hungarian Golden Warriors (2-10)
The question isn't will Sheboygan win extremely easily, but if the Warriors can hold the Chaos Theory under 140. I say no.
Sheboygan: 148, Hungarian: 0
Barger Hill Burglars (10-2) vs. Georgia Tec-9s (5-7)
The Burglars, which while I was typing kept calling the Burgals for some reason, are coming off their biggest win of the season, while Georgia is coming off their biggest loss. Any hopes the Tec-9s have will be shattered by halftime, as the Burglars march towards a final week matchup against a dangerous Rockford team.
Barger Hill: 37, Georgia: 7
Sarajevo Reapers (10-2) vs. Budapest Blue Devils (0-12)
This should be an incredible game between two excellent teams. One of the top Alphas vs. one of the top Zetas. However, I have to biased towards Bengals, because he's Bengals.
Sarajevo: 14, Budapest: 20
Wait....wrong Budapest team?
Sarajevo: 196, Budapest: 0
Washington Chairmen (6-6) vs. New York Knights (3-9)
Washington finally gets to end its 3-game skid, and hopefully prepare for new week's game against the Red Army Regulars.
Washington: 35, New York: 3
St. Petersburg Red Army Regulars (6-6) vs. Bisons Sentinals (1-11)
...yeah....the only easy win left on St. Petersburg's schedule. Hopefully they'll be well-rested for next week's game.
St. Petersburg: 62, Bisons: 0
Kazan Golden Horde (5-7) vs. Team Phoenix (4-8)
Kazan is much, much better than their record implies. As such, they should look very good against Team Phoenix.
Kazan: 77, Team Phoenix: 10
GAME OF THE WEEK!
NFL Fanatix (8-4) vs. General Patton's Demon Brigade (7-5)
The Demon Brigade needs this win more than Fanatix, due to a much tougher season left afterwards. I want the NFL/Gen. Patton drama to continue to the end so that I have actual DRAMATIC STORIES to write with ANGST and BITTERNESS, so I have to put my faith in Patton not driving into a tree, and stopping a great 6-game win streak for the Fanatix.
Gen. Patton: 27, NFL: 21
The regular postseason predictions and such will be in the night edition of the Times!
