Cpu teams have to be getting a boost

Not a full roster and CPUs are usually all rated at your highest rated players. Maybe I’m full of it though.

Have noticed our team that’s coming up isn’t blowing out CPUs as much.

Need all blockers on punt return and kick return.

You had a CB playing at WR at one point.

Check depth chart and ensure you are deep enough at each position.

Try different presets, check “summary” after game to ensure all your players are managing their energy/play time/morale correctly.

By being real bad at the game. Used to happen long ago, Bort had to weaken them even more. Remember when Bort temporarily made CPU teams better. Most teams were winning by just a 100 points, but too many regular teams were getting beaten so we ended up with this version now where it's a wasted game. What would be nice is if there was an option to click, a choice between what we have now and one where CPU dots are normal.

CPU dots should be beefed imo but even with that there should be no reason for most teams to lose to them.

As a coordinator I relish when I can get a team of CPUs to win; around level 40 the CPUs become serviceable.

Unsure why this CPU is doing significantly better than all the other CPUs in the league - but they are way better against human owned teams than the rest.

#1 don't be racist against CPU dots

#2 when a team gets sold, all existing Ai/tactics stay in place until the team gets bought. It's the purchase of a team that wipes everything out.

So at least you weren't out-coordinated by a CPU.

This. For kicks mid season I loaded all zone cover dots and we began to beat the other cpu teams that had beaten us before. Oh, my DAI has a lot of zone defense.

Wait, so if a team gets sold and turns CPU, it keeps the old human tactics until it's bought again? That’s actually terrifying. How do you even tell if you're playing a 'dumb' CPU or a 'zombie' tactical genius? I’m starting to think CPU dots deserve more respect (or at least more scouting)
