So, I tried to build on the legacy of Vader and make a better blitz CB. I'm obviously not better at dot efficiency but I figured id change attribute allocation.

I basically never see passing QB's break tackles on sacks and DV makes minimal non-sack tackles, so it felt like a good place to trim down some.

Feels like I might have overdone it, since in AA, Vitiate has through 7 non-blowouts games has made 11 sacks but missed the following, which feels like a shit load, especially in AA...

So in 7 real-ish games that's 21 sack attempts with 11 working and 10 falling over and unsuccessfully trying to tie shoelaces together of the QB.

Any advice? What make tackle VA will give the best bang for your buck? Will a +12% make tackle help with only 50/50 str/tkl? Or should I retire the dot before dsl20 murders me for missed tackles?

What's the Dot's jumping? My assumption is since it's a missed diving sack jump isnt high enough.

I'm seeing it in lower levels as well and assumption I am currently making is lack of jump. Saw LBs missing sacks the same way.

Realize that's a very simplistic answer but I always start at the 3 atts that might contribute to the success of the roll and you only mentioned two of the three, strength and tackle.

Weak dots need more confidence. I suggest at least 69

24 jumping and not a ton of confidence. While I'm sure they are having an effect, the lack of str and tkl are clearly first to blame.

But my only levers that don't ruin the build are +12% MT CE and throwing some VA at taxkling I think? VA suggestions?

Can't use DvG as not enough tackle....if you're getting 50/50 rolls Sure Tackler might get you to 70%( sack rate on the hit. Don't think Technique Man is doing you much good as agility for OTs are going to be higher than your CB - even with the 3rd down binus. Death Grip might be interesting to see if being dragged has an effect in throws when you miss...

At this point, I'd go for sure tackler and see if a second roll gets you better results.

Oh, don't forget the tournament games against pro teams. Those should count too (purely for research purposes). I'm not angry at you Wise, just disappointed.

In all seriousness though, its been a bit of a surprise. I expected him to miss some sacks, but didn't think the rate would be this high. Especially since he doesn't seem to get to the QB any faster or more consistently than Vader. I will still fight you if you try to retire him, but maybe he can be improved a bit.
