Hello. I havent OC'ed in a really long time but am now to help out my team. Something doesnt seem right with playing time. Specially for the QB position. We are not utilizing custom spots for the QB position neither within the depth chart nor within our offensive presets/play calling. All of our advanced energy settings are set to do not override currently and the advanced energy tactic isnt set for the QB (we tested with setting that and it didnt help either). However, no matter who the first QB is on the depth cart dominates the plays...as in gets every snap.

Anyone else see this too? Is there something obvious Im not checking?

Do you have force starters on? Only other thing I see is the other QB goes in for PH duties but that shouldn't kill his stamina so bad that he doesn't go in at QB.

Are you sure the default depth chart is being used, not anything else in tactics? Or are you sure both QBs were on the depth chart at the time of the last sim?

No to force starters…shut that all off. Ever play uses regular QB spot and nothing I can find in the tactics. I didn’t think the ph would have impacted things either but that’s the last thing I can think of. I also plan to change the energy for qb to try to force subbing in more frequently

I don't know if this will help or even if it is available as I haven't did any ocing or anything like that and don't have any access to look at this but check your stamina settings on your players, see what they are set at on each position.
I know if you wanted to give equal play time you set the settings to 99/1 so when a dots stamins went down to 99 the other dot came in, It would rotate each dot accordingly giving the dots pretty much the same reps.

Maybe you have the setting set to where the 1st qb's stamina has to drop really low before the other qb comes in. Just a thought here not even sure if this would help

I think the setting is 98/99 if i remember correctly. I've been trying to find it, but have had no luck yet.

That could work also but 99/1 works like this. The first dot playa a snap or 2 drops down to 99 stamina the 2nd dot steps in to play, the next snap after the 2nd dot playa the 1st dot is back in the game as the setting to step back in is at 1
I use to use that formula the little time I oc'd back in the day to make sure snaps were evened out with dots

I think maybe I found the issue? Even though I made the energy changes you all suggested and used custom depth chart positions to trigger players for specific packages and plays…I still wasn’t having any luck. Then I kind of stumbled on to the formation specific depth charts (suggestion from another gm) and determined that even though I had the custom depth chart set to only have my qbs in the regular qb slot and nothing set for qb1 or qb2, had my packages set to use the regular qb slot…I think since all the formation depth charts had qb1 set as the default, since there were no players in that slot and only in the qb slot it wasn’t able to pick anyone to play and just defaulted to the first qb spot and never rotated the other player in. Same for all other spots. I updated the formation specific depth chart and hopefully that was the missing issue? Will find out next game I guess. If this isn’t it I’m lost

Formation specific depth chart was 100% the issue. Thanks for all the suggestions and such guys!
