no one can say K is not one of the most important positions in football, though their impact is often discounted
EDIT: no, it totally didn't. My brain is broken. Making that would have given them an extra point but they needed to give up one less. Someone had to miss an extra point against them for them to have won the tiebreaker. So I guess you can look at every extra point made versus them all season and say every single one of them is why they missed the play-offs, lol
