he is solid, best? not so sure, but you do pass to him a ton. you did same thing in pro, and he blow up, but now in worlds let things play out and, see how it ends, but may not end well for the entire team because you are going to him more then not, you will be hurting the rest of your weapons.
maybe not targeting him 11 plus times every game but maybe more systematic and maybe that will balance things out? just a thought.

Ohhhh... hell. Likely to get some flack but I'll speak my mind. In GLB, just like the real NFL, if you have a dot that's rippin it up... game after game... eventually defenses (meaning DC's) will simply start using that against you. In the case of a receiver, you'll see extra zone coverage on his routes (help vs receiver)... more INT's when you throw his way... bore double, triple, quadruple coverage... which will, in the end, skew his stats. That's why the 'best' usually have several equal helpers so defenses can't concentrate on one guy. We think of Barry Sanders as one of 'the best'. I say imagine just how much more great he could've been if the Lions had more than a half baked passing game? Elway lost several Superbowls before the Broncos got smart and gave him a legitimate rushing game to go with is arm... then they finally won one. Hard to be a one-man show anymore. NFL or GLB. Just sayin.

There are certain dots on the woodpeckers which have an advantage over most WL dots. I need to lean towards giving those dots the ball, to have a chance at success in WL.

If the woodpeckers went heavy run, their defeat is absolutely guaranteed, and frankly we wouldn't have made WL in the first place with that strategy. Miami, Odyssey and Stalingrad I consider WL-quality squads, yet we defeated all 3 in the EPL playoffs last season to make WL, by slinging the rock.

I gotta improve some things on O, but it doesn't change the fact that Bolt, as a WR, is an absolute beast.

He is solid, i'll give him that. The Target/Catch ratio looks shitty though.
But still, if he gets your team to the playoffs or wins you the WL title, he has my respect. The only speed slot WR i respect was the one who teared up WL with Asau back in the day during snakes22/Creek days.

This is for example a dot I forced the ball to. He was the reason Benitos won a WL title in S58 and had one of the most efficient WR seasons in s59 before retiring.
Yardage wise, I have no doubt that he will hit 1k when forcing him the ball. But you have another high speed WR you can use.

Just for the record, speed attribute-wise Bolt is actually the 3rd fastest WR on the team. However speed-script he is the fastest WR when running a route.

But yes, I would also like to get our other guys doing some "production" as they call it, since 294 yards of offense isn't gonna get WL pregnant... But I disagree that our best offense includes <10 targets/game for Bolt.

It's harder in GLB with WRs, though, b/c you can't use the tags on them when designing plays. If there are 2 WRs on the field, there is no way to identify a specific WR and bracket them, you would have to double-cover both WRs. Obviously when you get to 3-5 WR sets, you don't have enough dots on the field to double-cover all of them.

This isn't to say that DCs aren't taking steps to do more things vs WRs when one pops out from a team here on GLB, just that you can't do a pure "that guy gets double-teamed every time he steps on the field" kind of thing.

zone but more so the effective player within that zones placement...ie where is he more likely to cover ? imo the zone defense actually works like a series of man to man coverages as long as routes are being run. Check the formation and the best plays within that formation and aim at containing those first especially the tough ones like SBB or Trips

I dont think much could be done to contain a 2000 yd + WR tho lol

dss knew how to build the perfect slotspeed WR.
I think I saved his build in one of my offline files
