The right people are in the game. The HB follows 'pass block' orders and doesn't go out in route. The BTE does NOT follow pass block orders and runs his route. Ignore previous about QB targeting him since I changed the 'progression' settings.

You figured it out above. Because you didn't use the custom progressions it defaults to the games progression. It held the HB back because he is not the primary target in the games progressions. If you take a look at that plays picture it has the BTE in orange because he is the primary target and that is why he is running a route despite your pass block instructions. https://glb.warriorgeneral.com/images/plays/327.gif

Set a custom progression without the BTE in it and it will work as you want it.

Thanks Ryan. That's what I thought too when I saw everything all at once (had several pages open so I could piece it together). Will set back to custom for that and double-check all my other plays in the remaining packages to be sure it's not elsewhere as well.

Full disclosure. Until the start of last season, I had never ever used the standard progressions. I had always applied my own. Decided to see what the game did when I took my hands off the wheel a bit and learn a few things. So I had no idea this was a thing.
