It's funny that this is one of my FAVORITE things about casual. In my opinion it is far more realistic. When I wanted to challenge our CasPro team in seasons that we were cruising through, I have run some scrims against regular teams knowing we'd get thumped. So many times we made the stop on 3rd down only to have the opponent go for it on 4th and keep the drive going is very frustrating and just not realistic to me. I know in the NFL they are going for it on more 4th downs than they have in the past, but still not what is done in regular GLB leagues.
When teams are going for it on 4th and short on their own 20 or 30 almost every time, that just wouldn't happen in real life.
I understand why it's done in GLB, but easily my least favorite aspect of the game.

I would say CBs as well, your INT CBs better be able to tackle in CasPro or your defense will have some rough days against some WL caliber built power backs. Defending outside rushes is one of the more difficult aspects of coordinating defense in Casual, so lots of outside rushes, and ifbyour INT CBs can't make tackles when they are out on the edge alone, you're going to give up some long runs.

I agree it's done here (going for it on 4th down) more than in the NFL but not all that much more than some college teams do. Although few go for it on 4th and short inside their own 30, for sure. But I've seen Navy do it plenty over the many years of watching them. And you're right... it's pretty demoralizing to get a team to 4th down then watch them convert again and again. Even in real life. I guess that's why I love Navy football so much.
