Just extended my retirement team through S100. I mean, Bort can't close down the game before then if people have already pre-paid...right? So whether this physical form I currently reside in makes it to S100 or not, Elysium Immortals will be here (likely still angering some) for the party!

So with that settled, let the S100 prognostication/hope/hype begin!

*What special promos will we see?

*Will insta-dots and/or insta-teams finally arrive?

*What # lockdown will the world be in at the time?

*Will GLB have more or less active users than now?

*Will Bort write us a non-form non-recycled note of thanks for keeping the lights on all these years?

*Will Bort admit to us what a royal pain in the ass keeping this barely profitable game has been to him these last 5+ years?

*Will GLB have an 'In Memoriam' thread to honor those friends/foes lost irl along the way? Too hard to tell who logged off on their own, who passed away, and who is rightfully rotting away in a prison cell somewhere?

*Will FS Glossy Eyes' fame exceed 12,000 at that point, earning him the hitherto unknown 'Golden Crown of Resurrection' Easter Egg AEQ piece that removes all age decline penalties and ushers in the era of 'God Mode'?

"Franchise Players"

Every agent gets 10 Franchise Player slots, with the option to unlock up to 5 more at an increasing flex cost.

The franchise player's build can be "saved" at the end of every season up to age 240. The agent must temporarily remove all AEQ, EQ, CEQ, and any endorsement items to create a "snapshot" of just the build.

In the future, an agent may "clone" a franchise player at whichever save point the agent requires, at the full calculated flex cost of that player, creation + boosts with no CEQ included.

Only players started as Franchise Players have access to this feature.

Not sure but I am sure there will be one. Free Dots seems to be the standard 'freebie' but I wouldn't be surprised to see a serious Flex sale even better than the usual Black Friday deals.

No. Too much work to code for the return in investment. If it were likely it would be the ability to upgrade dots several levels (no instant 79's... sorry) so to skip the 1st few seasons... but, like GLB2's system, it would cost you flex as well as other things. The big bug-a-boo? Actually it's the BT's. Not everyone does the start of their dots the same so the accumulation of BT's varies quite a bit actually. I can get a dot multi-training almost on the 1st (season) day of the rookie season. But sometimes I don't switch until mid-season. All depends on what I'm trying to build and how. So you could easily calculate out TP's and SP's but not BT's.

As long as people refuse to take it seriously the damn virus will continue to mutate and change and hang around. Took a LONG time to kick Polio's butt... and Measles... and the Mumps... and other such viruses. Even old standards like Ebola and Malaria still hang around in places. Part of me thinks as long as someone can profit from the viruses/diseases then it's likely we'll never win the fight.

Less... but not by a lot. The # leaving is somewhat mitigated by the # returning. New players are like Sasquatches... rumored but never seen.

I think so. It'll be a pretty big milestone for a simple football MMORPG.

Not no, but hell no. I think the moment the game becomes a loss instead of a gain ($-wise) the window will close quickly.
