Making a comeback to the game after many years. I want to make a team that catters to new players. If you're new to GLB and want to play 100% of the snaps because you won't have a backup let me know.

Any position, any type, I'll work the plan around you!

Okay, I'm glad to see yet another old face back in the game, really, I am.

Buuuuut... you're going to intentionally build a team for just 25 human dots and give them 100% of the snaps? You realize there are already teams like that at higher levels of GLB due to the shortage of active dots and they lose most of their games by triple digits, right?

I mean, if you already know you're going to lose a lot of games and you're okay with that because you just want to do something unusual, then hey, you do you. I just want to make sure you don't have the mistaken impression that this team will be competitive against full-roster opponents.

Dunno about ol' Novus... maybe he had a bowl of 'Cranky O's' for breakfast.
BUT, I will say this about your idea and why it will be highly difficult. Stamina means a LOT towards the outcome of games. The more the stamina goes down on your dots, the worse they'll perform. Against teams with full rosters, that will be rotating their players, your dots will get no rest. To successfully accomplish your goals, AND produce a winning team, your dots will need to have MUCH more stamina than normal. Normal average Stamina for even the full roster teams is around 55. I would suspect your dots will need at least (an average of) 70 per dot to be equal to the task because no matter how well you build them they simply won't be able to sustain their performance levels for entire games. You'll probably hold your own through the 1st half... but fade in the second... unless your stamina levels are high enough. However, to get those stamina levels high enough you'll have to sacrifice the quality of some of your other skills. Again, that's a doable thing but also dangerous against the very best teams that will have that slight advantage over you in skills and know how to use it.

By no means am I saying don't try this... just trying to give you an idea of the challenges you'll be up against. Back in the day, there use to be several 'Iron Man' teams built like you're wanting to do. They had their own 'league' where they would make their own schedule and then scrim each other to create seasons and championships. But they also had to play in regular leagues and in those leagues it was a tough road. Some were decently successful. You might seek some of those ol' timers out (make a post and ask) and see if you can get some ideas and stuff from them. Because there's nothing worse than investing a LOT of time and money into something only to find out it doesn't work as you hoped it would. The more you know, the better your experience will be.

I agree with everyone here but from what I can see the game has become elitist and has a huge barrier to entry for new players. I'm offering a home where new players can build without ridicule.

I see where you're coming from, but I've found that a lot of the old-timers who are so quick to criticize bad builds are also quite willing to help people improve their builds too. It's an odd combo, being both snarkily critical and very helpful in one package, but that's just kinda our thing here at GLB.

(There, Theo, is that better? )

You might try to get in with some of the various quality 'agencies' out there. Most are filled with quality builders and owners that want to win and will gladly take on people with the same goals in mind. Heck. I'd even sign up with ol' Novus there. He has his good days.

I don't really have an agency or a network... I'm too afraid people will copy my amazing people skills.
