Catch22 (no pun intended - RIP Catch22)
Hopefully people get bored enough during the self quarantines that they check in to see how its going here, but on the other hand, heading into the dreadfully long offseason while we are locked down is going to suck. Insta-scrims to the rescue I guess.

this exact thing limits the game. They should have something casual happen during this time at minimum. To basically shutdown the player activity for that long makes it pretty boring for 25% of the time

Especially at this exact time, but even overall, there is no need for 8 days after the season ends before the next preseason begins anymore with free agency being pretty much extinct. They would just have to find a way to get dots the extra training points for the 4 missed days.

Yeah. It would require reworking the coding of training, XP, TP, VP's, dot aging, and lord knows what all else and I'm willing to damn near bet the bank Bort and Co. are done with coding in this game forever.
