I'm trying to figure out what season I'm on? My contract says i'm signed until the end of season 58- day 40. Am I good for the next season or will I have to sign with a new team?

Posted this in another new persons thread a week or so ago. With your dot being newly created:
My suggestion is that you ride out the season and play with the options for your dot to get a feel for it. However at the end of the season, you will want to retire him, and create a new dot. The way the game is designed, dots that are created in the middle of a season are at a disadvantage.
I would suggest finding a new or re-starting rookie team here :

Better to get on to an established team than a random team. usually will be some agents willing to give tips on your building.

it seems that you are relatively new, so welcome to GLB.
Optimally, you want to create players between days 40 and 48. you should retire your new level 2 player, and recreate a new dot on day 40 or 42. you'll get contract offers but wont be able to sign any for next season until day 42 (any offers on day 40 will expire at the end of day 40). it will be easier for you to fine an appropriate team this way. otherwise, you will be forced to sign at a higher league against players older and higher leveled that you are.

Speaking of new season, should you accept one or 2 year contracts now, season 58 day 42? If you want to play only one season on that team? Meaning season 59
