A couple questions. I'm familiar with the AI, but it's been a while.

*Does the AI work in scrimmage games?

*The Wiki says "The playcalling AI will not operate unless the ‘Enable Offense/Defense AI’ button is checked. "
That doesn't actually exist does it? If so...where?
As far as i know you just click 'set as active default' correct?

*Basic Presets
What is the check box all the way to the left? Do I have to set as active default and check that box?
And finally, I can have an active preset and an AI active as long as i didn't set anything that overrides the AI....correct?

I made a change to the AI for the defense , and that seems to work fine.....But the offense AI doesn't seem to be working. (scrimmage game). It could be because I don't have a basic active preset for the defense, and i do for the offense. So either they don't work together, or i did something to override.

In the My Options tab for scrimmages, the team owner can select which DAI and OAI are used for scrimmages, as well as selecting various depth charts and offensive playbooks. If the offensive AI "isn't working", I would look to see what presets you, or the team owner, have selected in this tab.

Alternatively, you should be able to override the preset by using the Tactics Calendar.

Potentially dumb question, but are the tactic presets and the AI playcalling directly related? all I'm seeing is presets and I'm not exactly sure what that controls.

Your team is in Casual, so that might be why you only see presets. I have never coordinated in casual, so I don't know how that works.

That makes much more sense. The presets are groups of plays that the preset should represent. Like West Coast should have lots of slant route passing, with some HB and FB Passes mixed in.
