Honestly you can basically do that with the WR-to-QB cheese that peeps do. Bort could easily have fixed that by either (a) not allowing WRs in QB custom slots, or (b) calculating WR depth chart before QB depth chart. But alas the cheese came out after bort threw in the towel, so there was no one left to fix it.
I don't disagree with the issue of the bolded statement. It would have to be fixed so that things would be balanced.
