I just know that from a roster planning perspective, if you have an elusive HB as your returner, he can be a very good backup HB also and it saves you a roster spot. Your guy will fumble when he is going to fumble, no matter how high your carrying is. May as well do the best you can there and then get something else out of him as well. That is my take on it.

Agree but since people tend to build more elusive HB's than Power HB's (the thrill of speed never dies), couldn't a Power HB do the same thing? Being used as a returner AND as a 3rd down short yardage back? Lots to ponder (along with the FB angle as well).

eventually you only want your returner returning - low stamina causes fumbles too

Yeah... he'd have to have plenty of stamina... thinking 65+... maybe even 70+? ST's tend to drain the sh*t out of stamina.

60-capping usually works, but more if you are planning to use on offense too

My thought was, unlike speed arches Power styles tend to have much more 'body contact' as they break tackles more... therefore are subject to more stamina draining and more morale hits. The ONLY power build I've done so far is several Power WR's and I noticed they needed more stamina and confidence than my speed builds did. My only conclusion why that was was the extra 'hits' they were taking. I honestly don't know that's 100% for sure the reason... or the only reason... but I do know it's true they lost more morale and stamina than my speed builds did.
