I'm in the late levels with my BTE and looking for my 4th piece of AEQ. I rolled a 5% hold block chance piece, but I already have 2 of those pieces. Do I take that piece of AEQ and add a small % or do I keep searching for a Pancake piece?

Myself I am not a big fan of pancake, seems to be a waste to me but if it is your 4th pc might be better to just build it if you want the pancake sa, the total cost would only be 388 bt's to build it.

This depends on how your CEQ is built. I've actually stopped building my CEQ all the way out until I have all my AEQ pieces set. If you haven't built your CEQ yet (or completed it)... or if you're using your CEQ for something other than more 'Hold Block' bonus, then I'd get the 5% hold block piece since it's more valuable and effective than a Pancake piece. I try to get 3 pieces of hold block for all my O-linemen and other blockers unless they're a dual purpose like a Power WR or Power TE that isn't only going to block but will catch passes as well.
If you already have a 5% hold block, use it.
Use your CEQ to add to an SA if you want.
But the way I look at it is, the percentage plus is a known commodity. Cash as it were, with a known value. To wit...
15% 1
7.5% 2
3.75% 3
1.1875% 4
.75% CEQ
Which of those would you "give back" to the game show host in return for Mystery Box 6 Pancake?

I have 2 pieces in hold block and 1 in Get Low. My custom is already set at Pancake.
