can i change my position

Well you could stand up if you're sitting or sit down if you're standing.

Or you could just retire and redo the dot if it is a newly created one.

I could change my opinion of the above if I new what it was that was needing to be changed.

No, and yes. You can retire your player and build a new one with a different position. But you'll have to start over at level 1.

Being that your dot is level 47 you have two choices (as pointed out by Pena Fin). One it to recycle now and start over... the other is to ride it out until the end. It kinda depends on your finances. I suspect that dot is your free dot so you won't get any money back unless you bought Custom Equipment. If you haven't bought that then you lose nothing (but time and effort spent) and gain nothing in flex (but hopefully learned things along the way while building the dot). Otherwise you'll get a percentage of any flex you spent (on the dot) back.
