So that would mean that having the whole o-line have Downfield Blocker on it would be a good thing? Or something that helps with being the lead blocker?

I believe the Downfield Block will be more elusive to answer than the lead block ,
With the O-line I would think a bit hit and miss with the DB Await further posts on who has a clue or good guess. .O_o

Yes I see. I kept looking at VA's through the options for a G. It's on the FB's Blocking Abilities tree. By the sounds of it, it would be good to have on the o-line.

Here's my thought ,so I hesitated, The OT may be in position Or a Guard or Center if the defender misses or say double teams another.
So a O-line player would need to be free of QB protecting Imo. I would say limited use on that SA for O-line

I sometimes use this on my OL and max it on my FBs and TEs. Really, there are other VA's that I like better than Downfield blocker for OL, but will add some points occasionally to get a little added blocking bonus past the line of scrimmage. It's good on guards who often find the 2nd level on some inside runs.
