It's 3 bonus tokens to refresh the store. What does that make available, and what does it cost? Is it Flex points or bonus tokens and is it worth it?

It costs 3 bonus tokens to refresh. It will make some Advanced Equipment available to purchase at a reduced cost over actually building it from scratch. It is a gamble though, because what becomes available may not be viable for your position (and in some cases for any position). It may take several rolls to get something worthwhile but the savings can be substantial even if you do have to roll several times for something. However, it can ruin a build as well. You generally want to wait until later in your build before you start refreshing (I would say at least level 31) because you get to look at one more piece of advanced equipment per roll for each 10 levels you have gained.

After the refresh, what is the cost, and what cost are u comparing it to.
AEQ costs Bonus Tokens to either build from scratch or to purchase from the AEQ Store and then it costs 30 bonus tokens to increase an attribute ever 8 levels of your character.
Example:
On my Reggie Tayler dot, I was able to shop a +5% Hold Block piece. I can't remember the exact cost that I paid for the piece, but let's just assume it was 22 BT. To enhance the piece with +3 to strength it would cost another 50 BTs, so thus far I have put 72 BTs into it. For the same piece I could have built it in the build EQ section for 125 BTs. I rolled pretty successfully on this dot and I rolled all 3 of my AEQ pieces in 8 rolls (24 BTs) So for each of my pieces I averaged 8 BTs. So it in essence I rolled a a 125 BT piece for 80 BTs. To upgrade the piece further it will take another 30 BTs per upgrade with 10 upgrades (300 BTs total). This pieces ends up being worth a total +15% Hold Block and +13 to strength.
Disclaimer: I generally do not roll all 3 pieces, but I kept going when things were going so well.
Note: most people go with a total of 3 AEQ on each dot but you will see some 2 and 4.
