Think he would have fared better with a strong O-line.

o-line isn't the issue. He doesn't have enough of either awareness and is too low conditioning. Use the veteran cap booster on his conditioning for sure, and if you have any spare cap boosters still available, put them there too. And cap his technique too.

Other than that, you just need to get on a good playcalling team. I think he could be really nice with the consistency that high, but he probably doesn't go far into games before he's totally gassed with that low conditioning and eating those sacks from the poor awareness.

Thanks a lot for the advice.

Didn't know conditioning was so important for QB.

Perhaps I will spend a reset and put his Pocket awareness up to 50 and then fill out the other stats with his conditioning near 50

Look at his energy on that play. That's the last play he had in a very recent game with 75 pass attempts. the WRs and TE are in pretty much the same boat too. It's no surprise to me that was a 40% completions type game.

Compare that to this:

Cleveland Brown throws 78 passes in that game, he's at 83 energy as he takes a knee to finish it out. 57 conditioning vs Dan's 38. You did eat 1 sack where Cleveland didn't in these examples, but that 1 sack isn't making that much difference in energy.

Every time they cut loose a pass, it's a significant energy drain event in the sim.
