There used to be. Ask some questions before signing a contract normally does the trick though.

i've run across a few owners even recently that still play the lying game just to get players to sign. then as soon as the player signs, all the promises go out the window. its best to just ask around, and look at past seasons.

The reason it doesn't exist is because of the problems it would cause. Most 'bad owners' just don't last long because they get found out over time. Dang, i thought you were gonna say something bad about Dub J just now, specially since he's on his voluntary 30 day "ban".
Dub J has a "meh" reputation as an owner but his team forums and PF are entertaining as fuck. He also hates losing, so that's good.

I can't recommend that anyone sign with this team, because the head coach and owner basically just use the team to give their own players PT, while the rest of the guys are just there to fill out the roster. The funny thing is that my quarterback out-performed his, by quite a bit. Winning does not matter to him, just his player.

I can't recommend that anyone sign with this team, because the head coach and owner basically just use the team to give their own players PT, while the rest of the guys are just there to fill out the roster. I have had other owners/GM's who do not keep their word on playing time or whatever, but this guy was just ridiculous. He has a quarterback on the roster, and that is basically the only thing he cared about on the team. There was a GM on the team who put my quarterback on the depth chart. It must have really upset arkansas1984 that his player was not getting all of the snaps, because the next thing I knew, my quarterback was cut. Yeah i remember when i used to run into owners like that. Well, if it makes you feel better his team won't get anywhere like that. His QB's EL is already 9/8. By next season, he cant even pay anyone to sign that dot.
