Was reading a thread in the main when this idea hit me. I get it that you're probably not going to see changes to the GAME but how about a new approach to league structures. This could not be done without GLB's help.
Why not have a 'Passing only' league... and/or a 'Rushing only' league? There would be only ONE LEAGUE for each unless demand became so great that you literally needed to expand the numbers of leagues. The limitations would be that you could only choose from all passing plays (in the passing league) or rushing plays (in the rushing league). Where GLB would become involved would be in creating 'limited playbooks' (playbooks for passing league would ONLY have passing plays... same for rushing league). This is needed because, any CPU teams would also have to 'play by the rules' and have their playbooks limited to the same restrictions as human owned teams.
Anyone having any thoughts to be added, please do so (constructively) as it's likely I've overlooked something. Thanks.
