hey there. you can keep your players to learn a bit more about the game/training/assign SPs and things like that.
but you should retire them in the offseason.

Best time to create new players : Between day 40-48. Then you have to boost them on day 48 so they enter the new season at day 0 age and level 4.

Thanks for the reply! Why exactly at that time?

this is the offseason so the age stop. you need to be day 0 age to play in rookie team. if you build day 40-48 your players will still be day 0 and you boost day 48 to get into the next season at day 0 and level 4

Oh that makes sense.

Also i was looking at this guy: http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/player.pl?player_id=4331155&playoffs=0&stat_type=adjusted
It says he made 0.6 interception in season 32. How come the interceptions aren't round numbers?

blowout adjusted stats. you can choose the RAW Stats

blowout adjusts is to get a better meaning of the stats. it takes away the stats from a blowout win (+70 pts IIRC) that you could get against a bad team or a CPU team.

You can find rreally good teams looking for dots/players here:
http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/forum_thread_list.pl?forum_id=10
If they say "Rookie" or "PeeWee" or "Day 0 Dots" then you can sign up with those teams.
Go to Forums >> Directory >> and there's a lot of private forums you can read to help learn how to build a dot.
And then there's this (once you get used to the terms and stuff): https://docs.google.com/document/d/1fwZX6NvaZ1oScZZRzyvs4NOuCGRsnMYwzIkvFxD82BY/edit

Just remember to focus on the main skills first. Have your build in mind from the start.
