Actually had this conversation with the kids for two school projects so I had a +1.

WWll the hedge rows were the most feared(more than tiger tanks) but also made an easy target later for allied troops(snip hunting so to speak)

Stonehenge project was tough, I have been there but learning the row theory was eye opening as we found out the entrails made good fertilizer in some instances......hmmm grama used to have us put fish guts in the dirt for her roses......well she said they were fish guts
