To elaborate a little...only reason rookie leagues can sign dots Now that are age 0 to 26 days old are because today in GLB it is day 26, so dots that began the season at age 0 are now age 26. As the season progresses the age cap for leagues like rookie progress with the day of the season. At start of season 43 dots must be age 0 to sign with a rookie team

I am really confused now

didn't a few people recommend that I not let the team progress for next season? were these people recommending that I start over from scratch?

I purchased the team and made like 8 dots to man it like 75% through the season... so now for as long as I have these players I will always be 3/4 of a season behind everybody else if I progress on schedule?

if that is true I just wasted some money

am I understanding that right?

Do not boost them and you will get 100% refund on them when you retire them at the end of the season. Spend the rest of this season reading build guides and learning how to run a team. You also need to start finding good agents to build dots for your team.

teams will always advance to next age tier/league

I was recommending not asking to be put in a more advanced league , for example if you where placed in university competitive #3 I would not recommend asking support to place you into university elite #1.

only teams that never advance to next age tier/league are peewee teams and those that request demotion to a younger age league , and most times than not it's a request to reset to rookie. when you do that your roster gets wiped and stadium/cash reset . but starting from rookie on day 42 is best bet to field a competitive team, especially if you Originally posted by stevdau

that is the part that is not in the wiki that probably should be

I appreciate all the advice. I will start from scratch with a veteran owner of a rookie team next season

in the meantime I may be the only person hoping to beat a CPU team next

skibodragula was generous enough to connect me with one of his GM friends who is forming a rookie team

thanks again for all the help from everybody

and to bort or whoever... i retract my statement that the team progression was not in the wiki... it is there but if anybody important reads this silly thread, i suggest that part be included in the quick start quide tab. the team progression part of the wiki was somewhat buried

I have another question: since training four attributes on intense takes the same amount of training points as multi training four at once, what is the added benefit of multi training?

You get bonuses for multi training.

For example...

If my HB just trains agility by itself on intense he will get 14% progress.

If he trains agility plus another attribute he will get 14.7% progress.

If he trains agility + two other attributes he will get 16.8% progress.

If he trains agility + three other attributes he will get 18.2% progress.

12 bonus tokens instead of 8. Plus multi training gives an added bonus to the training %'s

Yeah I read the wiki. I was thinking about not swapping to multi x4 right after capping the primary attribute. Just need to use that virtual player builder to experiment.

I don't, not right after. Usually I do start at sme point during the dot's 1st full season, exactly when depends on the dot and what I want to try and do with his build.

That's a great idea right there
