Why do my players get switched out?

I set them and update them no presets. And yet they switch again.

You'll need to provide more info. Looking at your team (assuming the rookie team) you are using just the basic KOS/KRS positions so those players will be placed into position somewhat randomly.

In what way are they getting switched out? In the depth chart? In game? Is it putting players in you don't want?

I remove the KOS and KRS and put and put each of the guys individually in

Kickoff
Kickoff return
Punt
Punt return
Field goal team.

and then it works for 1 game, next game resets and everyone is in KOS and KRS

I'd try setting the depth chart the way you want, then update, then save it as a pre-set. Don't have to use it but this way if it does revert you can reload it.

Also make sure to delete any other pre-sets that already exist.

Yes yes yes. I got so tired of this happening to me it's now a religion. Make up the depth chart and save the preset. And also check regularly for stupid stuff like this happening. I swear... ST's are the buggiest thing that has never been fixed.

Does anyone else have access to your team's Depth Charts? Could be somebody is doing something stupid and is accidentally resetting your ST Depth Chart without even realizing what they're doing. Or hell, maybe it's not accidental...

There use to be an issue whenever someone would use the 'auto reorder" button (I still absolutely hate that it's RIGHT beside the 'Update' button AND IS THE SAME F*CKING COLOR!) that it would 'reorder everything' on all depth charts. I "think" they supposedly fixed that some seasons back but, because of the "bug that shall never be fixed" issue with ST depth charts, I simply do NOT trust anything on ST's... hence not only do I make a PRE-SET for my ST's, I make a spreadsheet on my EXCELL so I have a permanent list of where dots are/should be.

I have a new casual team with a high percentage of CPU players.

I have set as best i can the Off and Def line-ups to make best use of human players.

With the ST's, i have also selected the most appropriate CPU players (my team came with a horde of K's and P's...) for ST's and back-ups.

Now that i have the right positions, i am wondering if i will have to select each ST position or will the casual AI place the CPU players in the right spots?

Also, i started a thread here: http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=5175177
(Forum > Goal Line Blitz > Tactics Discussion > CPU ST for Casual Team)

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I'm not going to bother with manually setting the ST charts (for CPU players) if the casual AI will automatically place CPU players somewhat accurately.

Does the casual AI do that?

There's no (or virtually no) difference between what the Casual AI will do when setting depth charts and the 'regular' AI will do. It' basically goes from it's standard idea of what dot it thinks should be where. See my post in the other thread for more detail. Should help.
