The league/team structure isn't as good, the replays are kind of childish looking, and the whole website layout itself is blah...

I am not bashing it or anything, I'm just saying I like the old one a lot more for a few reasons.

Do you mean the 'Buy Team' link in between Ladder Ranks and Search Teams? That's not a link to buy the team you're viewing, it's just a link to the Buy Team page. The same links appear on any team page, or on the Team Search page http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/search/team

So a more accurate title would read : "This team will NEVER be available, but Rookie teams may be bought when they are available" ?

It's not a title. I'm sorry if there was a misunderstanding, but that link doesn't refer to the team you're viewing. It's like if there was a direct link to this page http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/purchase_team.pl any time you were viewing a team on GLB1 - it's different from the 'Buy Team' link on a GLB1 team's profile page.
