BIG chance it's being caused by a firewall/ad-block software. Are you on a personal PC with a 3rd party web security type software? If so, I would suggest you disabling it to see if that fixes the problem. The "ws://glb.warriorgeneral.com/im_app/ws" is referring to the Instant Messenger and this looks suspicious to many different firewall type programs.
If you are having this problem at work and you have no access to tweaking/turning off the firewall software, then there isn't much to do.
I have suggested to the devs that we provide an option that allows users to turn off the instant messenger to fix issues like this and/or provide a smoother running website for older PCs having memory issues with the new design.
