So with AEQ, if I use BT's to upgade it partially. Can I then go back and finish off the upgrade once I have more BT's?

For upgrading, yes.
For enhancement, no.

And, personally, I like to purchase (roll) for my AEQ, enhancing if necessary (provided you didn't nail a +3/+5% piece), until I have ALL the AEQ I either want, have planned for, or have the budget (BT's) for... first. THEN I know how long before I need to switch out from "Multi-training" to "Light Training" because I know exactly how many BT's I have left and how many I need.

Definitely agree with that, otherwise you could find yourself up shit creek

If you buy a piece straight-up, it will cost...

50 BTs - enhance with +3 to an Attribute
either 18, 38, or 75 BTs - enhance with either +1 to an SA or +% to a roll
300 BTs - 10 upgrades (30 BTs per upgrade)

So, it will depend on what SA or +% enhancement you choose to put on your AEQ piece.

Most of those posts are from January... Ezra just necro-bumped his own, old thread to ask a follow-up question.

Once a post gets old enough, the Report button goes away. It's to keep people from abusing the Report button by Reporting 3-year-old posts and stuff.
