I click on something in GLB2 for GLB one and I click the link and it goes to a GLB2 player. Why, just why?

So I got a contract extension for a TE on GLB. I opened the mail in my GLB2 inbox. I click the player link and it takes me to my WR in GLB2. Why get GLB mail in GLB2 if the links do not work?
