when? opinions? which is better .... acquire VXP gain quicker and boost early, or boost late and take the season XP gain ?

depends on your long term goals. most players want the extra vxp. when to boost will depend on the individual build. you are going to want to boost when it is the most advantageous prior to day 0, which could be any time during the preseason.
