convince me otherwise before I spend my 5 pts I jsut got. I am above the soft cap for str and blocking (into the 2-1 range). Vision 31, agil 28, speed 27.

Waste them on the mythology of a good pulling guard build, or just pump into str/block?

Pump into str/block, the run game is a joke right now in GLB. Especially outside running.

I will want to see a successful pulling guard out there before I can be convinced to pump points into speed.

Same here, I've really wanted to get my guy faster but have yet to see anything that would point me in the direction of that working at all.

Just because it hasn't been done doesn't mean it can't be done. The issue is, to be able to pull it off you will probably have to follow a running back development plan rather than an o-line plan.

I agree 100%. Every point I gets goes into Str/Block or SAs. No shot I'm putting a point into Speed/Agility/Vision. I'll just train them

I put points into Agility and train speed. My Guard tries to pull, but mostly just gets in the way of the RB right now.

I do think it will work out on a pulling guard because I see the attempts now, but it will take another season of training speed for my guy to really evaluate the feasibility.

I think I will have to train up his vision too for a true evaluation.
