When you use BTs it is called Advanced EQ and is much more valueable to your dot. This is how you get % peices which are vital to a succesful build. You can build AEQ from the ground up or you can roll the dice and spend them at the store where it is possible to get an AEQ peice for much less than building it yourself. It is generally a good idea to wait until ~lvl 41 to shop. You can also ruin the dot by wasting too many BTs in the store, so use it sparingly.
