The big decline started in late 2008. It's just no one lower than the highest levels saw it.

That's completely false, but don't let facts get in the way of your narrative. You lost interest when the sim stopped changing, or at least you claimed to as I don't think you were very interested in the seasons before leaving Beta either. But that has never ever been true for the vast majority of people who quit playing.

Any of the guys that quit playing with me that was it. I guess it is true I don't know why everyone quit. They all had their reasons. The end result is the same though. We all sit here looking around saying "who's next?".

The main reason they quit, is because they are quitters - duh.

Pretty sure anyone that knows me will tell you I lost interest when the forums became dead as shit. That happened well before GLB left beta. Good try completely trying to revise history, though.

And yes, those of us that hang out with the more casual users noticed a big decline in the userbase years ago. Pro/WL is more of a diehard crowd that hung around much longer than the average user. They didn't notice this until a relatively short time ago. Most of my GLB pals and RL family/friends that played this game left before 2010. It's funny that you and others are acting like a massive decline just started happening over the last year or two.

Yeah, he's said similar things to me so I mistook it for something directed at me.

I agree and it's nothing new. I've played in plenty of these MMORPG games and each one usually goes the same route. Starts small, get's a BIG boost early... has some legs (the difference between quick flamers and long runners is game changes and challenges)... then stagnates because everybody has done everything to death and there's nothing new. That, along with new games coming along about every month and people's short attention spans = game death. 5 years is pretty dang good.

In my defense, I was just looking for a fight.
