Oh Yes!!!
Plenty of CPU teams... no worries there my friend

Your flex does transfer!

And you get 30% back!

Seems legit. I mean, at least they are not dots, so when the animation logic makes no sense, you can see legs and stuff.

looks to me like the HB stops because the QB does a pump fake-- great that you can fake out your own players!

but seriously, the retro feel of the new animations isn't doing it for me. I'd rather have dots or Xs and Os unless they can make them WYSIWYG--which clearly they haven't reached yet. And the longer loading time for everything i've seen on GLB2 is a big minus so far. retro graphics is one thing, but retro load times is another.

You get 30% back if you transfer the flex over to GLB2?

no, all flex transfers completely

I think the refund from retiring dots on GLB2 may be different, as is the flex cost to build and boost them there. But there is no penalty for using your flex you have now over there.

Thanks guys.

I guess 1 thing that would be helpful is players and boosting.

I remember before it was often a good idea for new players to boost at the end of the season, or towards the end of the season (I forget if there was a cutoff date to boost). Yes it's still good idea to wait till seasons end to boost young dots, get better training gains early on

What is the "suggested" strategy when it comes to building new players? page through the FAQ , should easily find a thread about it

Also, I'm trying to go through some of the game guides now as far as player builds. But I remember from before, for example, building a DE, there were really 2 schools of thought. Your heavy STR builds, with AGI/SPD/Tackle being more secondary and there were high AGI/SPD builds with STR/Tackle being more secondary. pretty much still remains the same

What is it that teams are looking for in a good build. (And yes, I do plan on spending time reading through the forums to re-learn as much as I can before the new season comes around). they are looking for a good build, lol

I am assuming GLB2 is an entirely different game, meaning I would not be able to transfer my flex over there? If that is the case, I think I'll stick it out here and enjoy the flex that I acquired so long ago. It is quite a lot. it transfers completely, just cost different to build/boost there, and I don't remember what the refund is from retiring on GLB2.

Lastly, terminology. I am reading one guide right now, and am lost on a few things:

3AE
4AE (no idea what they are talking about here, is it Advanced Equipment?) yea, they refer to 3 pieces of AEQ or 4 pieces of AEQ. Difference is when you build for 3AEQ you can multi train longer, when you shoot for 4AEQ you need to switch to light training sooner to accumulate the needed BT's to buy/upgrade the 4th piece of AEQ

Are there any CPU teams that pick up players automatically like they did before? It seems that you can't train players if not on a team. When should I create new players for next season? Day 40? They don't pick them up "automatically". You request contract offers, and CPU teams will send you contracts. Best dayS to build new dots are between days 40 and 48 because now they give you retroactive TP's(training points) as if you built on day 40 even if you build on day 48.

Still you could build player now, use you free player slot, to get re-aquainted with the building and training mechanics. Then retire on day 41 and build a new.

For now, that is it. I've already answered a lot of my questions I was originally putting into this response by reading various guides.

Thank you Bane, very helpful on that. I'll get a player on a CPU team to get used to the new training methods, etc.

NP,here is a very quick guide to building a new dot:

name dot
choose position and then archetype
choose height and weight , use them bonuses to advantage. for example, if going Strength attribute first choose either max weight(+2 strength) or 1 pound below max
put as many of your starter SP's into Strength, all the rest into whatever will be your second attribute
create dot
DO NOT spend your initial 15SP's yet
in off season no need to be on a team to train, during a season you will need to be on a team to train
enhance strength training with BT's 1star(I will continue using Strength as the example for your 1st attribute for the sake of this little guide)
intense train 3 times
enhance strength to 2nd star
intene train until you have 15BT's
convert those 15BT's to 1SP
spend all 16SP's on Strength and you will reach the 1st softcap

that's a good start

Well I've gotta agree on the graphics really not working for me. I'm staying in GLB1.......However I'm hoping it doesn't just get pushed to the side, since a new look is arriving. I've had multiple questions regarding the coverage of CB's on a WR, However no response. Just wondering if GLB1 is not a priority anymore!!!
