I have suggested that in the past, but the mods told me that they need these ideas for the new game, so it's not going away.

I suggest a seperate suggestions forum where we can suggest that they implement suggestions in this game and not the new one.

I'm not suggesting that they should remove the suggestion forum, just suggesting that this suggestion forum is starting to suggest that they don't care about this game anymore.

I'm not even sure how to spell suggestion anymore, and neither is my spell check...

Seems like this would be more in the hands of the users than the hands of GLB. So the Suggestions forum is the wrong place for this. Maybe you can start a petition on one of those petition websites or something.
