Just a thought, but why not have mods unlock threads that they refer to as being already posted if they are locked as well?

Makes sense to unlock the thread or merge them and unlock to continue the meaningless conversation about the suggestion(s) that is(are) basically NGTH regardless.

Basically what it says when this happens is
"this aint gonna happen, and I'll show you why (circa 2008)"

Oh, and this is my bi-monthly (random, maybe longer) lolsuggestion-quota.
