I´m building my first LOT who is now at lvl 65 and I need some advice on my last AEQ.

I was originally going to choose a "protector" piece and leave my HB% at 21 but I might switch to a HB% piece and use more SP to get protector up.

His blocking will be around 90 natural and I´ve seen WL build that has ca 83 blocking and 25% HB. Is there any way that 90 blocking will make up for only having 21% HB?

90 blocking is good with 21%HB , imo.

just need to hit good number on Strength, and have enough agility to counter TechMan

Strength should end up 140 + VA bonus
Agility 105 + VA bonus

Too much strength imo. You will be seeing Tech, man all the time. Most RDEswill have under100 strength, but have 120+ agility and/or speed.

You'll also want Pass Block SA to help with the engage roll.

If I was going to build a LOT today, I'd hit blocking first and get it into the high 90s. Then I'd hit agility and shoot for the mid 90s. Then I'd do strength third and aim for the low 90s ... with eq split for 120+ agility and strength.

If you get through the top of your build fast enough, you'll have time to run up Speed at the end of your build.

that is bad advice

agility > blocking - a pass blocking archetype should always go agility 1st

between equipment and VA's you can EASILY finish with 140 strength, 110 agility and 100 blocking

To be fair I think he was inferring blocking first because it gets a bigger bonus from the attrib VA. Although blocking itself seems to be disputable as to how much it really matters, in the case u think it's overrated yeah def go AGL first so AGL/STR total becomes higher. I like 100 BLK W/VA myself so AGL first for me but to each his own.

a- you're implying that a LOT actually needs 140 strength...

b- the attribute order isn't very important, as long as you hit your targets for the end build

c- the EL on this guy won't win any awards (Player Value = 1411.43) but it's solid

By going 3 AEQ you have the option of going back to 130+ strength if Tech Man popularity fades out in the future.
Right now, if you don't have the mobility you end up looking like this

not a big fan - would rather get something like this - and again - 3 AE so you can play with CE or the basic piece if you want more agility

LT - EL = 1481.6

Bonus Tokens: 1289

Attributes:
strength : 91
speed : 75
agility : 104.1
stamina : 62
vision : 69.1
confidence : 60.1
blocking : 97.1

Top SA Tree: | 4 | 4 | 4 | 3 | 10 |
Bottom SA Tree: | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
Additional SA Tree: | 0 |

+25.5% HB

(I would likely drop vision to 60-capped instead of 68 but this is the basic idea - conf can even be lower, but the big 3 attributes is the focus)

Well... this is why it's ok to have more than one idea to work with. I'm between reddogrw and TJ's build with my goals.
