The only "Speed" any non rushing QB needs is the speed he uses to drop back to throw. Anything else is wasted.

Deep Passer on the other hand would need to soft cap speed since he's less likely to stay in the pocket to throw those bombs.


30 speed is too low for the higher levels....especially for WL. You need to drop back real quick so you can start your progressions because your going to have 170 speed CB's blitzing your ass on top of some bad ass Dlineman coming for you. If your slow in your drop back than it causes hurries and bad throw and so on. You need 40 minimum but ideally 48 speed which can all be achieves thru training toward the end of your build.

This is true, however it shouldnt all be achieved through training. You should take it to 30-35 with training and then cap it with SPs.
