I lost in the championship game. How do I know if I will be promoted to elite or competitive?

You will be going to elite.

Elite needs 32 teams and there are only 4 prep leagues.

How is it decided who goes where?

Make it past first round = Elite?

16 playoff teams each league = 64. So that seems about right.

Not sure tho.

There will only be one elite league. The teams that made the second round of the playoffs will populate elite. Don't know if there will be one or two comp leagues in University next season. Obviously, the teams that lost in the first round of the playoffs will be in league (comp) 2 along with teams with the best records that missed the playoffs. As for the other two leagues, it won't matter. Will be a collection of the worst teams in prep this season.

Of course teams going CPU will change this to an extent. May be a team or two that should be headed for Comp2 that end up in Elite.

But for sure I should be in elite?

There are only two ways you won't be in elite.

1) You sell the team back.

2) You reset the team back to prep or rookie.


I would suggest working hard at recruiting so you're prepared for next season in elite.

Well he's in casual and it's only 3 leagues.
But he should be in Casual Elite no matter what, he made it to champ game

Oh, I was looking at regular leagues. Either way, his team is going to be in elite.

With so many underleveled players, he can ask support not to be put into elite and they would probably honor that. I have seen teams do that in the worst leagues who made it to the championship game, just because there were so few real teams. No one wants to see a team in elite that will get crushed game after game.

I've never been a big proponent of dodging promotions. Get better or start over imo.
