does style (wrap up, balanced, power) play into the KL determination?

Power doesn't seem to give any advantage over balanced, and I have been on a lot of teams that have tried it on their KL DB's.

Yes, it does, and for the post above, I think Power tackling style does afford an extra bonus to FF's and KL's, but the FF roll is very difficult to pass in the first place, so most of the time if you can make the FF/KL on Power, 90% of the time, you'll make it on Balanced too.

However, that being said, if you have a dot who is a very secure tackler, and can go to Power Tackling style without missing a lot more tackles compared to balanced, you should go to Power tackling.

Personally, I go Power Tackling style for any dot who has more than 93 tackling with the textbook tackler VA, especially with make tackle % and sure tackler VA. Anyways, my main point is if you want to go on Power tackling you should do everything you can to boost your make tackle roll so that you don't miss tackles.

IF u want to get really technical there is an extra bonus for using Power if u have Big Hit or MH since power allows for a possible double effect from each of those SAs. I'm assuming the bonus relates to KL's as well.

Yea I'd be worried about missing 3 tackles per knocked loose attempt.
