I bet you all thought I was going to ask how to update it without the error page

No but seriously. I have my depth chart set and for whatever reason, my backups are getting about twice as much playing time as the starters. What might be causing this or what can I do to fix it?

I have the energy setting set for replacing with a back up at 60 energy and returning at 100. This is how I usually run it and have never had a problem. I would like to fix this so my starters get their playing time. Thanks for any/all suggestions.

Most people go 99/98 i believe

I tried 99/98 and it seemed to switch the players every other play which was obnoxious so I tried to make it so they each got an entire offensive/defensive series before subbing out

I don't know if anybody does that. Switching out each play is better for energy, and a lot easier to manage. Not to mention splits PT evenly. Possessions are varying in length, energy, etc. Being able to switch em out after each one sounds awfully difficult, if not impossible to predict.

98/99 , keep starters off the ST's
force starters on 3rd down

Thanks. I did put my backups into ST to ensure starters don't end up there. I didn't have force starters on third down. That might be the dagger.
