yes, but if you are going to tag 1, you may as well tag as many as you can. In general, that defense sux, but the less dots you tag, the worse it is.

+1

Even if a team is only pushing everything through 1 guy (usually an RQB in this case) you still tag many more than that.

this team only has one guy who can really make a difference, and he gets the ball basically every play

I differ from sunder b in that I use the tagged preset and only tag some dots. I question the logic of tagging a passing QB as passer if that is the only QB they have. I question tagging a rusher if he also get screens.

As a general rule. I tag to take away the basic purpose of a dot. A scat FB as a rusher would have to have a messed up build to be successful all the time. I'd rather take away their receiving. A PHB should not be tagged as a receiver no matetr what the build is or how many screens they throw at you.

Etc. I find the base D useful vs untagged dots myself.

I may have not been clear. I have pretty much a similar philosophy on who to tag, I was just trying to say tagging only one dot won't do much good. May as well tag up the blockers as well in the scenerio in the OP

I would never tag a passing QB as he will many times be in for a hand-off and that can mess up the defense if they are looking pass just because he is in on the play.
