Otherwise, they are my preference.

There is a box that says "Show only preferred options" or something like that. If you uncheck it, all attributes will be available for enhancing

You can't get make tackle AEQ in the store for OL, though. Nor force fumble.

Truth. But you can build it.

Thanks for pointing that out. What a pain. It defaults to not showing them, so you have to uncheck
it each time to see the other attributes. That should be fixed for ST's archetype.

Don't use ST archetypes as a default.

Just for the record...

STOP = Special Teams ONLY Player

it's very hard to reserve the roster spots for players that only play special teams.

as far as the archetype goes...

bTEs have the least to lose by taking the STOP archetype. they trade a major in strength for a major in speed. Vision drops but so does confidence. It's really not a bad compromise, unless you need ultimate goal line bulldozing action.

You can make a pretty good STOP C for the long snapper slot, he'll be a solid cover man, but if you want to make a real Head Hunter/FF dot, it takes a lot of extra work with SAs and you have to build all the AEQ.

Outside of that, there's just not a lot more worth investing in with the Archetype.

The best coverage dots come from the regular archetypes. HHs, Combos, Pass Rushers etc...

IMO, special teams blocking is so nerfed right now, it doesn't really matter who you throw in there... might as well be a fleet of rQBs.

The most important thing is to designate guys to pick up the supporting VAs, (STr and DR).

Jack of all Trades CBs. Speed, Agility, Strength, Tackling as majors. Vision, Jumping, Stamina, Confidence as minors. Blocking is the only thing you need from the O side to make a dual threat STOP out of the JoaT CB. Monster Hit can be taken as a bonus SA and First Step and Change Direction are the #1 and #2 SAs on the tree, so you can use them for both sides as well. You can make the CB decently heavy or you can make your CB really light and try using DvG.

I don't like using FBs because the AEQ shopping is terrible.

Good Strategy. Your STs kill the morale of my returner. Adding Monster Hit to all future STOPs.....lol
I went with 2DEs, 3Cs and a HH SS for STOPs. Next time I reset, I plan to do it differently.
