Tom Cline:And folks we are here with Orlando Rats star Strong Safety Justice Pick'em. Now Justice how did you feel when you were picked up by the Orlando Rats
Justice Pick'em:Man, I was happy. I mean I haven't really done anything up until that point..as a matter of fact, I hadn't done anything at all. So I was extremely happy that they decided they would give me a chance to come in and show what I got. they took a chance on me.
Tom Cline:Indeed they did, and it is my understanding that you haven't let them down since you arrived, am I correct?
Justice Pick'em:Well, I would think so.*chuckles* I mean I am still playing so I must be doing something right I suppose.
Tom Cline:*laughs* Your right, so you guys are 5-1..how do you feel about that?
Justice Pick'em:How do I feel about it?...I am glad. we just won a close one against the Baltimore Stars, which the score shows it as a lot closer than the game actually was. the O just couldn't seem to punch it in there that game But all that matters is we came out with the win and it was something we needed after our heartbreaking loss last game..Hopefully if all goes well, we can build on this game and win our final two..you know. Finish the season strong going into next year.
Tom Cline:Speaking of next year Justice, How do you feel about your teams chances?
Justice Pick'em:I am glass half full person you know. So I feel real up beat about our chances for next season. Granted we played a shortened season this year, and a longer schedule will take its toll on the guys I believe we can duplicate what we are now doing this season. I mean we got a good core group of players coming back next season, to add along with this years rookies as well as who the coaches might grab up from the Free Agent Market. So I believe we are in very good shape to make a bigger mark next season than we are this season.
Tom Cline:Yes, hopefully you can. I for one am interested in seeing what the Rats will do given a full schedule, as well as yourself. 11 tackles and 1 interception in 5 games.
Justice Pick'em:Yeah well, they aren't the best numbers. I will be the first to tell you that. I am sure there are plenty out there who are better than I am at the moment*laughs* but the corners don't really give up the deep ball and have rarely let anyone behind them. So I suppose its a blessing my stats are that way*chuckles* You know, I don't mind just so we are winning games. I am only as good as the other players on the field. we play off each other.
