Can't believe I hadn't seen this before as long as I've been here but this game here brought it to my attention.

Yes... it's a blow out game against a mostly CPU team whose punter is a Human dot. That's not the point. The Punter gets Top Performers status as well as my returner. Stats as follows for those that don't wanna check out the link;
P Super Sonic Boom (punts) 40 (yards) 1,814 (average yards per punt) 45.4
CB Speedy Gonzalez (punt returns) 40 (yards) 1,575 (average yards per return) 39.4

Now I'll do the math;
1,814-1,575 = 239/40 = 5.975 NET YARDS PER PUNT.
This stat is important to real football games... as important as hangtime, punts inside the 20, and all that rot. But it doesn't exist in GLB nor does it seem to factor into awarding punters/kickers. It should, IMO. And thus, I am suggesting it.
Thanks for listening.

+1 for the fact that if this were taken into account it would help with the shittiest punters being at the top of the K/P MVP races.

Yeah... no doubt. The opposing Punter in that game was their POG. They had more deserving players but, for some reason... very little love is given to defensive players unless they score TD's somehow.
